ORLANDO Florida Miley Cyrus returned to the showstage for a recent concert in Orlando, Florida, but did not say anything about the recent controversy over her Vanity Fair portrait.

The 15-year-old star of Hannah Montana performed several songs at the Saturday concert that will be included in the Disney Channel Games series on the Disney Channel.

Cyrus didn’t attend Friday’s red-carpet party for the games at Disney’s Epcot Center, where she would have faced questions from the media but who can blame her she’s just being a kid!

Cyrus has said she was embarrassed by the photo, which shows her wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed.

She spotted a sign in the crowd Saturday that said, “Miley I’m praying for you,” and she responded: “I can’t be more appreciative of that.”

Saturday’s concert also featured performances by the Jonas Brothers and the Cheetah Girls and eveyone was really enjoying themselves to good clean fun. What a great opportunity for parents to allow their kids to enjoy some dancing and music that’s themed around what thekids like to do and yet everyone enjoys it!

With Orlando the home to Walt Disney World so many people identify this whole show as a hometown experience..they really got what they were expecting and more…typical for Disney showmanship!

Pastor Brian from Belfast writes:
I was in Lakeland for a week attending every service… Todd prophesied and prayed for me that the fire of God would invade Belfast, I returned on Friday and held an intercessory prayer meeting before our Street Pastors went out.

I prayed for the 12 of them imparting the fire of God… One of the guys after I led hands on him was deaf in one ear for years, he jumped up and declared that he could hear praise God.

The fire also spread out onto the streets of Belfast as we prayed for all of those we met many young people stood shaking under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and we lead 35 Roman Catholics to Christ. This a marvelous sign that the healing and impartation is spreading from Lakeland into Belfast.

Last night Todd called out a lady who had been in a car wreck 17 years ago. He said she had been in pain. That was me. I was in a bad car accident that had left me with nothing but a hole in my right kneecap area. I had been taking shots for over 6 years now to try help ease pain of bone touching bone.

Last night after he said this I stood up and began to bend this right knee something I have not been able to do for over 3 years now. Now there is no hole there anymore. God had given me a creative miracle there and replaced all that was gone and taken out. You can feel there is no hole there now like before.

My husband and I are pastors from Mississippi. We traveled with a group from our church to attend the revival meetings,

Thursday in the morning meeting during praise and worship our 10 year old son, Micah, felt a rain drop fall on him and then he heard what he thought was a cell phone ringing. But then he went into a vision and saw a phone with “heaven” on the caller id. During the prayer time at the end, Todd’s associate gave Micah a word concerning the nations.

That night our 12 year old son, Jesse, had a vision during praise and worship. He was up at the front and he saw an angel behind the white cloth behind the stage. Then he saw the angel fly over all the people, spread out his wings and lift up all the people, the whole convention center and all. He said he could hear the wings flapping and feel the wind. This was the night that we sang, “Holy, Holy” for so long.

Our sons are pretty sensitive to the Holy Spirit. They hear from God, but I have never heard them tell of visions with this much clarity. Our first night in revival was the release of the anointing for supernatural encounters, and I believe what they saw was a result of that impartation.

I am compelled to testify! We have been watching the evening sessions on God TV. About a week ago when Todd had a word of knowledge for healing of deafness in the left ear. I was not aware that my hearing was impaired, until later that night when I saw a strange mark on my face. Looking closely at the cyst under my cheek (that had been there for about 10 years), it looked different. When I put pressure on it, it popped open and MY HEARING WAS RESTORED!!

Glory to God!! Although watching the revival on TV is pretty close to heaven, I think we are going to jump in the car a get some revival first hand!

I placed my prayer cloth on the TV speakers during the revival. My wife and I ministered Sat morning using it. SIX deaf right ears came open. One lady came out of a wheelchair. Another gentleman with rotator cuff problems and frozen shoulder lifted his arm straight up above his head and began to cry. He had been in pain a long time.

I was up in the woods yesterday praying. I was up the trail when I noticed that I was not out of breath like usual. I said, “God? Did you just heal my asthma? Then I heard a voice in my head say, “Try it out. Run.” And I thought, but I can’t run. Between asthma and chronic bacterial arthritis, I have not been able to run for over 20 years, and I don’t have my inhaler with me. But I felt like I should run, so I tried. I ran about 50 paces. I could breathe!! My heart wasn’t even pounding!! Last year I needed a cane to walk from my door to the car and I RAN! PRAISE GOD! So I ran for about the length of a city block. I COULD BREATHE NORMALLY!!!

Scott & Patricia writes:
Thursday am we left our hotel 9 am for morning meeting. When we saw our car in the hotel lot it had been HIT overnight — the left rear bumper was bashed in — you can see on the attached photo the white paint from whatever hit it and the undercoat where the paint was coming through where it was bashed in. This was a HUGE problem - we are missionaries raising funds to leave for long term in September and have NO collision insurance!!! We trusted God and went to the meeting!

Thursday night we felt to sow $1000 seed!!! This is huge for our budget!!! Praise God whatever it takes to have more of what the Lord is pouring out here!!! We went back to our car after midnight as we all left the meeting in His power and love —- we got to the car - thought it was the WRONG ONE —- the DENT WAS FIXED!!!!

Tuesday night Todd called out a word of knowledge for the left lung. I was stabbed in my left lung several years ago in Detroit Michigan where I was born. I started coughing really hard and getting really hot right before u called out that word and thought it was because I was in agreement for the healing for others and wammo this one was for me. The blood started pumping so hard it felt like a real stung heartbeat, my husband was there and touched me and said I was so hot and when I touched it, it no longer hurt. Praise God!!

As a young girl I struggled with Pornography… not knowing how I was in bondage to it. During the Revival I have been 6 times… I believe I have been delivered from that bondage. My mind will not allow me to visit these old thoughts that were constantly coming into my mind. Praise God for my deliverance.

Michael writes:
My family and I were at the Florida Healing Outpouring for 6 days. While we there we received much. I believe that I was healed from migraines that I had struggled with for 22 years. My wife is 6 months pregnant and before we came she had an ultrasound. They found a cyst on my unborn son’s brain and my wife also had Placenta Previa.

We had an ultrasound the day after we got back to NY, and the lady doing the ultrasound was surprised that doctor ordered an ultrasound so soon and didn’t expect much to have changed. Praise God the Placenta is exactly where it should be and the cyst is gone.

My husband and I came the first week Todd came. One the night he had everyone call that had cell phones for people that needed healing, I called my daughter in Jacksonville, Fl because the baby she was pregnant with had what is called Primary Renal Pelvises. Both kidneys of the baby were swollen and not able to send the urine down to the bladder.

Todd prayed and proclaimed new kidneys and the power of God went through my daughters body all night long. She was born a week later and the first thing she did was urinate! I never thought I would be so happy about a grandbaby peeing! They did a sonogram on her and her kidneys’ are perfect! Praise be to God!

Two weeks later I was home watching the revival meetings on Friday night and Todd called out Fibromyalgia, I touched the TV and was healed! I have been totally free of pain and have been sleeping like a happy baby! Something I have not been able to do for 8 years! We are partners of Fresh Fire Ministries and God TV.

On this day in Disney history…

Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show debuted in 2005 at Disney MGM Studios (now called Disney’s Hollywood Studios).

This high action stunt show taken from the Disney Studios in Disneyland Paris is now also currently featured in the back of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This show will definitely keep you clinging to your seat while you catch an action film being produced live-right before your eyes! Cars chasing after each other, wild autos jumping ramps, over 40 vehicles nearly missing, jetskis racing, motorcycles humming, and even people just like you getting caught in the midst of the fire! Lights, Motors, Action extreme stunt show is one of my favorite attractions whenever I visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Disney World in Orlando Florida!

On this day in Disney history…

Grand Opening of Soarin in Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Center in Orlando, Florida, the greatest vacation destination for families on earth. The newest addition to The Land Pavilion at Epcot is Soarin, similar to Disney’s California Adventure as a part of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary, “The Happiest Celebration on Earth.” EPCOT is the second gate at the Walt Disney World Resort and the third Disney theme park worldwide. The name stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Walt Disney envisioned EPCOT to be a showcase for innovation, Like so many of his ideas, he intended for it to never be completed, continuing to keep up with the ages and times. Since its opening in 1982, Epcot has done just that. It is an awesome place where families can explore the wonders of science and the diversity of our world’s cultures. The second largest Disney theme park worldwide, EPCOT has approxiamtely 300 acres of rides, shows, attractions, interactive presentations, dining, shopping and architectural wonders in two unique and seperate areas, Future World and World Showcase. Soarin takes you across the Golden State of California as you glide 40 feet high in the air and view the beautiful landscape below. Travel to Disneyworld in Orlando Florida is always sure to exceed expectations for new things to do and enjoy no matter what your budget might be. Not since the days of Shaquille O’ Neal, Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway, and Nick Anderson has an Orlando Magic team advanced from the 1^st round of the playoffs. Nearly 12 years had passed, and fans of the team were wondering if they were destined to be “mediocre” at best. Then, on April 28^th, 2008, everything changed. With his 3^rd 20/20 game of the series against the Toronto Raptors, Dwight Howard and the Magic had broken the curse of seasons past, and are set to play the Detroit Pistons in what looks to be a fantastic 7 game series. But what exactly has changed from seasons past? Why is this team so special? I think the real question we have to ask ourselves is, where to begin?

Before the 07-08 season started, many questions were left unanswered. How will the players respond to new coach Stan Van Gundy’s no nonsense work ethic? Would Rashard Lewis be able to play the power forward position for the injured Tony Battie, even though he had been a natural small forward all of his career? Would the departure of Darko Milicic and Grant Hill hurt this team? All these questions were answered over the course of the season, with a few surprises along the way.

To understand the improvement of this team, you have to start with the man in the middle. Starting the season at just 22 years young, Dwight Howard became a man amongst boys. Not only did he average more points and rebounds a game, he also became a leader. When Stan Van Gundy called Dwight Howard out after he seemed to had given up on defense in a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers , Dwight responded with a monster 23 point, 24 rebound game against the Denver Nuggets. After that game, we saw a different Dwight Howard. We saw a man possessed. A player who wanted to prove to his coach that he was ready to become “the man”. Since then, Dwight has continued to put up big stats, but more importantly, alter the flow of games. His mere presence down low has teams second guessing their offensive strategies, and resorting to throwing up bad shots that are easily rebounded by the leading rebounder of the league. Many fans call for Dwight to be the MVP of the league, and while they may not get that this year, it is almost certain they will soon enough.

Another major factor in this seasons improvement, is the play of fan favorite Hedo Turkoglu. Turkoglu had taken a backseat to Grant Hill for most of his career with the Orlando Magic, but once Hill departed to the now eliminated Phoenix Suns, Turkoglu seized his opportunity. Turkoglu became the starting small forward for the Magic, and improved in nearly every major statistical category. His 19.5 PPG, 5.7 PRG, and 5.0 APG were all career highs for the 8 year veteran, and earned him the “Most Improved Player” of the year award for 2008. But besides all that, his most honored title has been “Mr. 4^th Quarter” after hitting game winning shots against the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics, and being in the top 10 for most points scored in the 4^th quarter. Most Magic fans did not expect this kind of showing from Hedo in the beginning of the season, and were pleasantly surprised by how he stepped up and flourished with his new role.

When former coach Brian Hill was fired after his failed 2^nd stint as head coach of the Magic, a big name coach was hired to take over the reigns of the team. Someone who was at the top of his game, and was a media darling after his previous success with his teams. No, not present coach Stan Van Gundy, but rather the back to back NCAA National Championship coach for the Florida Gators, Billy Donovan. However, after getting cold feet, he decided to go back to the college ranks and leave the Magic high and dry. Was this a blessing in disguise? It sure was. Soon after, former Miami Heat coach Stan Van Gundy was hired, and the rest is history. A no nonsense type of guy, “SVG” has always had a knack for maximizing the talent on his rosters. While most users on the official Orlando Magic message boards predicted roughly 40-42 wins, along with some not so optimistic predictions by the so called “experts”, SVG surpassed all expectations and lead this team to it’s first 50 win season since 95-96. While preaching defense, he told his players to always take the shot available to you. It didn’t matter if you had missed the last 10, take that 11^th and hope it goes in. And so the Magic did, and along the way, broke the team record for most 3 pointers in a season. The most important thing SVG did though, was he taught his players never to give up. If the team was down by 20 in the 4^th quarter, you better believe he was still pushing them to play as if they were down by only 2. Even when the team had 20 point leads going into the 4^th quarter, SVG would not allow them to lose focus, and made sure they continued to play hard.

The last major piece of the puzzle was the free agent singing of former Sonics small forward Rashard Lewis. While most people were put off by his contract, which is roughly about 21 million a season, Rashard has proved he was ready to be paid superstar type money. Not only did he average 18 PPG, about 5 RPG, and only about 1 TO, he opened up the floor and made opposing teams pay when double teaming Dwight Howard. He also took a backseat to Hedo Turkoglu as the go to scorer, and accepted playing the power forward position, to which he wasn’t accustomed to. The characteristic I like the most about Rashard is that he is a team player. He does everything in his power to improve the team, and he sees the bigger picture, which is trying to bring the Magic their first NBA championship.

Many other factors played into this seasons success. Jameer Nelson improved as a floor general. The trade of fan favorite Trevor Ariza brought in a surprising starting shooting guard in Maurice Evans, who had been a career journeyman and backup up until that point, and also a legit 3pt threat in power forward Brian Cook. Reserve guards Keith Bogans and Keyon Dooling both brought their defensive tenacity to games, and defended the opposing teams superstar with great success when called upon. Besides all of that, the team came together and brought forth total team effort. They won big together. They lost heartbreaking games together. If you ask me, if the team continues to play up to this level, the city of Orlando may be celebrating their NBA teams first championship in the very near future. This season cannot be defined by just one factor, but by many. And that my friends is very exciting.

So if your like most of us who like to getaway, listen to some good jams and dance a little bit, I highly recommend you visit Club Firestone in Orlando.

I recently attended a Moose convention at the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive in Orlando Florida and I was thrilled with my accomodations at the Vista Cay Resort. Friends of ours told us about the resort and that they enjoyed the entire experience and recommended the company that booked their orlando vacation, trip2orlandousa.com. The location was so convenient, my wife was able to drop me off within 5 minutes of leaving the villa and be at Sea World or Universal Studios in 10 minutes. The accomodations were spacious and clean, well-lit, comfortable and beautiful. The kids loved the pool and all the many supervised activities available to them. We will definitely be coming again to this beautiful resort whenever we come to the Orlando Disney Area.
