Since 1978, the small, family-run restaurant has offered delicious Cuban dishes at reasonable prices. The lengthy menu features spicy beef and pork, easily star attractions of the restaurant, arroz con pollo, and other palate-tempting traditional fare. The lechon asado, ropa vieja, and the picadillo are all mouthwatering combinations that people travel for miles to enjoy. The thick, richly techtured frijoles negros (black beans), white rice, and platanos maduros of the chicken plate are simply irresistible. Numero Uno caters to the whole family with delicious, home-style Cuban food prepared in a welcoming and traditional atmosphere, traditional meaning FUN! Open Monday through Thursday from 11am until 9:30pm, Friday from 11am until 10pm, and Saturday from 2pm until 10pm.
